MISTRAL pneumatic sowing system is used for sowing all types of seeds with grain sizes from 1 to 10 mm. Therefore, seeders with this sowing system can be used for sowing not only dense cereals, but also legumes and oilseeds (peas, beans, soybeans, rapeseed, etc.). Specially designed parts are also used in pneumatic sowing systems, which allow simultaneously sow and fertilize with granular fertilizers and crystalline fertilizers at the same time.
The pneumatic sowing system, consisting of a fan for producing compressed air, a doser for precise seed dosing and an injection-mixing and distribution system, is designed for successful implementation in separate sowing machines, but also in machines for reducing pre-sowing soil preparation, including no-till technology. The use of a pneumatic sowing system allows significantly higher yields and also reduces seed consumption.

Dosing unit DAV-2 MISTRAL

DAV 2 MISTRAL dosing unit is primarily intended for dosing granular / crystalline artificial industrial fertilizers with a granule size of 1 to 5 mm and with a maximum dust content of up to 10% (NPK, nitrate). The modified design of the dosing unit mainly solves the increase of service life, approximately 3 times compared to the previous standard version. Of course also seeds can be dosed with the DAV 2 – MISTRAL.
The sowing rate can be set by:
- stepwise adjustment of the sowing rate with an accuracy of 40 (20) kg, by means of mechanical axial adjustment of the overlap of the active part of the star cylinder
- changing the speed of the star cylinder
- a combination of the settings in a. and b.

Dosing unit DAV 3 stainless

DAV 3 MISTRAL feeder is mainly intended for dosing seeds and granular fertilizers in the construction of pneumatic seed drills. The setting of the appropriate dose depends on the use of a suitable seed roller and the setting of its rotation speed. This can be changed by means of a continuous mechanical speed change or an electromotive speed control system.
Dosing unit is mainly suited for dosing seeds and granulated fertilizer in pneumatic seed drills. It is intended for seeding of dense types of seeds, as wheat, barley, maize, peas, rice, grass, oilseed rape, etc., due to easy exchange of sowing rollers. The setting of appropriate dose depends on the use of suitable roller and setting of its rotation speed. Dosing unit DAV-3 MISTRAL works on the basis of continuous mechanical change of operating speed or electromotive speed control system. Presumption for using DAV-3
MISTRAL is to have following types of drive:
- Mechanical drive with suitable variator
- Electric drive and GPS (Electric drive is possible to arrange from different well-known suppliers)
This dosing unit is able to substitute existing dosing units type Mistral or Kverneland Accord. The connection to the hopper and drive is also compatible.
Dosing unit DAV-4 ø150 stainless

is dosing unit with a horizontal injection node and is primarily intended for dosing industrial artificial fertilizers and pellets in unusually large doses – kg/ha. The dosing capacity is approx. 0.26 to 1,5 kg/s (also depending on the use of suitable pneumatic transport pipe system).

- DAV – 4 dosing unit is intended exclusively for dispensing industrial granular and crystalline fertilizers, including pelets used in agriculture.
- DAV – 4 dosing unit is designed for highly efficient pressure transport of seed from the dispenser to the sowing units, i.e. for large transport lengths of up to approx. 16 to 20 m.
- The dosing length of the star cylinder is made for large-volume doses of various commodities.
- The transport performance of the dispenser in the standard version is in the range of 0.26 to 1.5 kg/s fertilizers and pellets according to the type of commodity and its specific density
- Recommended working speed range 18 – 105 rpm.
- The adjustment of the dose of fertilization is possible with the help of continuous regulation of the speed of revolutions of the electric or mechanical drive of the dosing unit.
Dosing unit DAV-5 ø170 stainless
K007/1B
is a dosing unit with a horizontal injection node and is primarily intended for dosing industrial artificial fertilizers and pellets in unusually large doses – kg/ha. The dosing capacity is approximately from 0.54 to 3.0 kg/s (also depending on the use of a suitable pneumatic transport pipe system).

DAV – 530 MISTRAL dosing unit is intended for dosing standard seeds when higher sowing rates are required and also for special seeds which are lower in hectolitre weight and are sown in higher sowing rates – kg / ha (they are sown with their plant cover, e.g.Dinkel seed).
Dosing unit DAV – 530 MISTRAL allows:
- simple adjustment of sowing rates in combination of the classic mechanical adjustment of the overlap of the dosing chambers of the star cylinder and the use or non-use of the extended star cylinder
- sowing of standard types of dense seeds with / without the use of micro-sowing
- sowing of a larger dose of seeds by approx. 46% more than the standard dosing unit.

The horizontal injection node type HIU – 4G is an important component of the dosing-transport MISTRAL air system, which provides conditions for efficient transport of metered seed / fertilizer through sowing hoses and subsequently sowing units into the soil. With its construction, it significantly increases the transport performance of the entire MISTRAL dosing – air sowing system. Due to the orientation of the HIU – 4G relative to the position of the dosing unit, its design can be with different rotation of its connecting flange.
